Nervous! I wanted a Jenny Packham dress.
Very inviting, Micheal Buble was playing! And Jo was in full swing singing along!
No, I didn’t really know what I was looking for and said I wanted to feel ‘sexy’… not sure why I said that, as I don’t dress sexily!
It was nice to chat about how I wanted to feel in the gown.. but it was Jo, who had looked at my style of clothes when I arrived, asked me to try on my gown after I thought I hadn't found the perfect dress for me!
I just knew I never wanted to take it off!
I bought my veil and hair piece for Y.A.P and I struggled to find shoes, but bought some gorgeous jewelled peep toes from Phase Eight.
Couldn’t have asked for more!
My wedding was held in my parents in law’s field, in a yurt. I wanted a relaxed day where people could just chill out and enjoy their day without being railroaded around; having to pose for photos/ sit as specific tables… just free and easy for us!
No particular scheme as such…. My bridesmaids were in cream! My flowers were all different colours!
Jonny Donnovan was my photographer. My mother in law chose a florist near her and my sisiter in law arranged all of the flowers for the yurt. Everything else was done by friends!
Thank you to Abi for sharing her Bridal Journey with us!
We LOVE to hear all about your experiences and share it with our Y.A.P Brides! Love Danni & the team xxx
