We are excited to welcome you to our studio & make all the magic together - to ensure everyone’s health & wellbeing is of the upmost importance we have created our precious guidelines which should be followed at all times when you visit us.
◊◊◊ Prior to your visit IRL ◊◊◊
Ahead of your visit to us you can choose up to Three ‘Diamond Guests’ who will share your magical experience with you in our studio to allow for safe social distancing whilst you're with us. When choosing who to join you, think of who’s opinion you value the most, who you feel the most natural in front of & who’s support means the world to you.
Keep in touch tools are offered to perfectly capture your favourite styles - Make sure your best babes are on hand at home to ‘Video Call’ & join in with virtual celebrations – we have free wifi ready for you to use connect with your nearest and dearest.
Our sample styles that are available to try on are listed by designer on our Instagram page @yapbridal under the ‘Highlights’ section. Be sure to screenshot or make notes on key designs you’re swooning over –we can explore your ideas at the start of your visit as we'll chat through your dream dress during your consultation when you arrie.
If you or your guest feel unwell, have been in contact with any person showing symptoms or have any symptoms no matter how mild please contact us to reschedule your visit to a safer date – this is imperative.
◊◊◊ On the day ◊◊◊
Please arrive promptly. No earlier or later than your confirmed appointment time. We need to ensure we have enough time between bridal appointments to deep clean, refresh and prepare your personal bridal space. (both prior & post all visits).
First appointments take an hour to an hour and a half & will be super focused on finding your dream dress. (For full details on length of appointments & what to expect please refer to the ‘Our Precious Promise’ page of our website).
Our studio is based on the first floor & has the added benefit that our ‘Y.A.P Powder Room’ is located halfway up our entrance staircase –please ensure you & your guest use our facilities upon arrival to thoroughly wash your hands with our luxury ‘Safe Shield’ foaming hand wash.
When arriving at the main front door of our studio (this is pink so you cannot miss us) our main sanitiser station is positioned on the wall to your left within the entrance porch – Please ensure that both you & your guests use this facility on entry before stepping inside our reception lounge to meet your personal stylist, who will lead you to your exclusive appointment room.
Please follow our instore guidelines which will be positioned throughout our studio space along with directions from your stylist.
PPE - Foolowing guidelines facemasks must be worn furing your time with us in store. There are some gorgeous fabric options available online to style up your bridal look whilst trying on safely - We love the silk options over at forlovenluxe.com which keep your skin feeling fresh.
We offer such a personal service & it is key that we follow all government guidelines & updates on PPE especially for when in close proximity.
Sanitiser stations are also positioned throughout our studio with our main point inside our entrance porch along with bottled foam sanitiser wall mounted in each fitting room area.
Both you & your Diamond Guests will have exclusive seating within your personal bridal space which your stylist will direct you to. We are asking that you all sit back and relax –Your personal bridal stylist will show you our range & only your stylist will be able to handle the gowns from our rails - matching you to the most perfect styles – this will minimise popular touch points in store.
Social Distancing –We are lucky to have beautiful personal spaces within our studio for our Brides to enjoy –we will all be following social distancing guidelines throughout your time with us –please follow the distancing rulings wherever possible.
◊◊◊ Safety Measures ◊◊◊
Our team have been fully trained on our new procedures & have followed/will continue to follow all government updates along with our own beliefs on safety within our workplace. Your bridal stylist will clearly communicate safety guidelines to both you & your guests at all times, along with following all measures that have been put in place – This includes strict personal hygiene regimes in-between appointments.
We have carried out a thorough risk assessment, whilst also acquiring the best advice & products by 'Chemex' one of the leading manufacturers & innovators in cleaning, hygiene & infection control. Between every appointment we have our strict clean down structure in place.
Our team will be having temperature checks upon arrival & throughout their working day.
All areas & key touch points such as door handles, stair bannisters, tables, seating & card terminals, etc are fully sanitised prior & post our brides appointment time. Our products will be fully steam cleaned between appointments.
We will only be taking cashless payments for the forseeable months - Our card reader is available for instore payments & balance transfers are encouraged for our precious ones visiting to try on and collect your gowns.
We have made special layout changes within our studio which means that you can relax & fully enjoy your own private appointment room that's full of all our magical vibes.
Our complimentary drinks offerings will be on pause for these coming months.
We have implemented staggered & extended appointment times to minimise risk of passing others upon arrival & when leaving our studio.
◊◊◊ Our Y.A.P Brides Precious Collections ◊◊◊
How exciting –you’ve had the call from your Y.A.P Team to say your unreal gown has arrived with us & to plan the next steps - bringing all the positive vibes into your bridal journey.
We are asking our brides to arrange a bank transfer of your gown balance ahead of your visit in real life - This minimises shared touch points in store such as card readers to heighten safety & peace of mind – meaning more time to focus on your dream dress. This also allows for us to complete your order with your designer if you're unable to visit us within 30 days of your dress arriving thus supporting your bridal team in following our normal procedures. When you arrive at our studio your bridal gown will be beautifully displayed ready for you to try on. If you feel more comfortable collecting your gown without trying her on with us this is absolutely fine too – we will make a note of this on your collection form for you & you can happily admire her from all angles whilst you’re with us.
Your collection appointment will take around 30minutes –please let us know if you would like to try on any accessories whilst you are with us & we can have these prepared ready for you.

For our precious ones who have already experienced your gown arrival & our babes whose gowns have just arrived now is the key time to book your Gown Collection with us - It is so important to have your dress safe with you at home or stored with our recommended seamstress team as she is now all yours, so that you are literally ready to rock your alterations in the lead up to your day - Giving you complete flexibility without any boundaries on timescales with the unknown of the pandemic.
