Tell us how you felt before your first appointment to try on gowns…

I was super nervous as I was in the process of losing weight but I was also totally overwhelmed with excitement – as of course, it’s every girl’s dream to go wedding dress shopping!

On arriving at Y.A.P Bridal Boutique what were your initial thoughts…

I had been to Y.A.P Bridal before for a friend’s fitting and had found the boutique to be totally gorgeous, so I was not disappointed when I arrived for my first visit to shop for my own wedding dress. The atmosphere is so calming and makes you feel instantly at home (as well as the warmest welcome from all of the Y.A.P girlies).

Your Style Ideas

I had been to a couple of boutiques before visiting Y.A.P, so I had kind of narrowed down what style best suited my shape. I had always envisaged myself in a princess style gown, but wanted something really unusual and unexpected to wow our guests as well as a gown with a beautifully detailed back.

Your Consultation to Finding the One…

Louise was fantastic and asked me a number of questions about what I was looking for, how I wanted to feel and whether I had any style and material preferences. She was then able to pull out the perfect range of designs and dresses for me to try, amongst which was a stunning champagne Maggie Sottero gown that ticked all of the boxes.

Tell us about your bridal stylist and the ‘You Are Precious’ service you received…

My stylist Louise, as well as all of the Y.A.P girls, were amazing from start to finish and really did make me feel precious. From the biggest cuddles on arrival, to the champagne to toast saying yes to the dress, my experience was a truly magical one and I am so thankful.

How did you feel when you found your dream gown & how did you know it was ‘The One’…

I cried. Quite simply, I cried. And this was always how I had imagined that I would know that I had found ‘The One’. Despite the sample dress not fitting me perfectly yet, I knew as soon as I put it on and looked in the mirror, that this was the one for me. Needless to say my entourage’s reactions cemented this!

Faultless. Everything about my Y.A.P Bridal Journey was a joy. I really have no words to justify the unforgettable experience I had.

Eve and Dan shared a super special day at Lartington Hall to celebrate their love for each other… The pair wanted their wedding to be filled with a mix of class and comfort – as Eve’s background working in the wedding industry highlighted how important it is for your day to be unique and represent you both as a couple. Eve wore an amazing Maggie Sottero Wedding Dress which suited her style ideas perfectly. A theme of gold and blush pink ran through the day – perfect touches for a summer wedding in such a beautiful setting.
