These awards were announced during Bridal Week Official, one of the most important events in the bridal industry calendar. To stand on that stage, surrounded by so many inspiring names in bridal, and hear You Are Precious Bridal called not once but twice, is a moment we’ll never forget.
What These Awards Mean to Us
Winning Bridalwear Retailer of the Year (England – Small) is an incredible recognition of the journey we’ve been on since first opening our doors back in 2010. From a small boutique in the North East to becoming a destination store for brides across the North of England, every step has been about growth, passion, and an unwavering commitment to our brides.
The Team of the Year Award feels particularly special because it celebrates the heart of You Are Precious – our soul sisters. Every member of our team pours their energy, creativity, and warmth into making each bridal journey iconic. From the moment a bride steps through our townhouse doors, she feels the genuine care and excitement that defines us. Being recognised for this as a collective is the greatest reward we could ask for.
Celebrating 15 Years in Style
This double win couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. 2025 marks our 15th birthday – a milestone that has given us the chance to reflect on how far we’ve come.
Since Danni first joined as a Saturday girl when You Are Precious opened, to stepping into the role of owner in 2019, the boutique has grown in extraordinary ways. We’ve expanded our offering with the launch of our sister store, Sisters of Grace Bridal Outlet, and our dedicated plus-size brand, Love Above Curve Bridal. Moving into our beautiful Grade II listed townhouse in the heart of Newcastle in 2022 allowed us to create a true bridal destination – one where every bride feels celebrated, supported, and cherished.
To see all of this hard work, passion, and evolution recognised with two national awards during our 15th anniversary year feels nothing short of magical.
