I felt so excited and nervous at the same time. Even though I had a rough idea on the style of gown I would like I was still worrying that the style might not suit me.
I liked that Y.A.P had thank you cards on display and some unique floral arrangements and props which made it look very artistic! The framed photo of Jo's Mam and Dad, who the boutique is in memory of was so beautiful. I also got very excited when I saw the Rosa Clará designs because my sister's wedding dress was a Rosa Clará and she loved it.
I've always wanted to feel and look like a princess when I tried my gown on. I like lots of lace, with a long train, ivory in colour.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I met Heather as our bridal stylist at our first visit and she asked me some questions about my wedding and gown ideas so that she could help me find the perfect one. She is so nice and approachable. Danielle looked after us during our next visits and she always did her best to ensure I was a happy bride. Jo was there to support and give advice to me throughout. Anne did the final seamstress work to my gown and she worked hard to make sure my dress fitted me perfectly.
Heather and Danielle were very helpful throughout my bridal experience. I'm very fickle minded and it takes a while before I make a decision. I'm glad they were both so patient with me. I felt so lucky that they were both part of my bridal journey. They never rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable.
Extremely happy and emotional. I couldn't believe that I had found my dream gown and I felt so confident wearing it. I was so excited to wear it on the day and show it to my family and friends... and of course my Husband.

Just perfect. I felt like I was a princess. I couldn't wait to wear my dress on my wedding day. Jo sent me a really speedy reply regarding a query about my gown when i arrived in the Philippines, one week before the wedding. She replied on the same day and she was very helpful. I didn't feel like they were miles away from me when I was reading her email. I had so many compliments on my wedding gown.

My wedding was held in Tagaytay, Philippines. It is a beautiful place to get married and I fell in love with the church (Madre De Dios). It is quiet and such a romantic setting. Overlooking the Taal volcano. We had approximately 130 guests day and night. We stayed two nights there and had a one hour massage the night before our wedding. We had family and friends who came all the way from America, Thailand and the UK just to celebrate with us. It was overwhelming. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it.

I had a turquoise colour for my eight bridesmaids, coral for my three secondary sponsors and pink for my matron of honour. I love the colour combination!

Queen David and her team (Just Like Ours) was our on the day wedding coordinator. She is amazing. Her team was so helpful and they made sure that I was a stress free bride! Everything was so organised and it went very smoothly. The photographers (Chestknots) and videographers (Mayad) were fantastic. They played our photos and video clips on the day of our wedding during the reception. They are very talented. Michael Ruiz and his team stunningly styled our reception. I loved my make up. Katrina Galang and her team did an excellent job. RJ Ledesma was our host of the night and he was superb. Lots of people dancing on the dance floor because of our band Sound Salad. It gave me goosebumps when I heard them sing!
Thank you so so much April for sharing your bridal journey with us all - your day sounds truly magilcal - thanks to Chestknots for these amazing images xxx
