Our Brides
April and Noel
Tell us how you felt before your first appointment to try on gowns…
I felt so excited and nervous at the same time. Even though I had a rough idea on the style of gown I would like I was still worrying that the style might not suit me.
On arriving at Y.A.P Bridal Boutique what were your initial thoughts…
I liked that Y.A.P had thank you cards on display and some unique floral arrangements and props which made it look very artistic! The framed photo of Jo’s Mam and Dad, who the boutique is in memory of was so beautiful. I also got very excited when I saw the Rosa Clará designs because my sister’s wedding dress was a Rosa Clará and she loved it.
Your Style Ideas…
I’ve always wanted to feel and look like a princess when I tried my gown on. I like lots of lace, with a long train, ivory in colour.
Your Consultation to Finding the One…
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I met Heather as our bridal stylist at our first visit and she asked me some questions about my wedding and gown ideas so that she could help me find the perfect one. She is so nice and approachable. Danielle looked after us during our next visits and she always did her best to ensure I was a happy bride. Jo was there to support and give advice to me throughout. Anne did the final seamstress work to my gown and she worked hard to make sure my dress fitted me perfectly.
Tell us about your bridal stylist and the ‘You Are Precious’ service you received…
Heather and Danielle were very helpful throughout my bridal experience. I’m very fickle minded and it takes a while before I make a decision. I’m glad they were both so patient with me. I felt so lucky that they were both part of my bridal journey. They never rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable.
How did you feel when you found your dream gown & how did you know it was ‘The One’…
Extremely happy and emotional. I couldn’t believe that I had found my dream gown and I felt so confident wearing it. I was so excited to wear it on the day and show it to my family and friends… and of course my Husband.
Overlooking the Taal Volcano, April and Noel celebrated with family and friends that had travelled from all over the world to share their special day in Tagaytay, Philippines. April chose a bold colour scheme of Turquoise, Coral and Pink which looked so vibrant and fresh… Her incredible lace ballgown by Mori Lee was fit for a princess and totally stole April’s heart when she tried her dress on… Breathtaking!
