Favourite part of your experience at You Are Precious Bridal?

How at ease Danni and the team made me feel. Each time I visited (which was a few!) I felt like I was visiting a friend’s house to have a catch up! I wanted to make some amendments to my dress and they were great at advising me through this. When my dress arrived, I was super nervous to try it on following a recent knee surgery leaving me feeling far from my best, however the girls were the ultimate hype team and got me excited about my dress all over again! I’ll be forever grateful to them for that.

The feeling when you found your precious wedding dress?

Both relieved (I found the thought of going dress shopping quite daunting), also excited for my fiancé to see me in it!

What top tip would you give to our future brides ahead of their bridal appointment or wedding day?

For the bridal appointment: Don’t get too hung up on a type of dress before the appointment. Go with an open mind and the ladies there will help you find the dress for you (for me we described that as “me but Bridal”), the style may take you by surprise and be something you would never expect! Try and enjoy the experience, when else will you get to try on such beautiful dresses?! Have fun with it and, if you can, make a day of it with whoever you’ve taken to get all excited for your big day!

For your wedding day: Remember that you’ve put in the work and so try to relax. Give yourself some moments to sit back and look around at your guests having the best time on your wedding day. You’ve planned and imagined it for so long, that work has paid off, everyone is having an amazing time and to top it off they’re all there for you to celebrate the love you have with your other half. Some of my strongest memories already are of everyone dancing together or having fun in the Photo Booth. Another tip is to give you and your other half a few moments throughout the day alone together. We had this just after the ceremony before the guests came out, before the reception and before the first dance.

Accessories: Long veil, matching pearl earrings and necklace, my veil had pearls on too and I got some pearl heels from Charlotte Mills to complete the look!
