Tell us how you and your partner met. Your ‘love story’…

We met out in Tynemouth but we had known each other from school. We hit it off straight away, but then Dean had to go away to sea for 3 months. We messaged every day and when he returned we went on out for our first date. Now 8 years together, and we have our beautiful daughter Halle, who is 2 years old, and she made our wedding day even more special.

How did you feel before your first appointment to try on gowns?

I felt really excited to see what styles would suit me but I didn’t expect to find the perfect dress so soon.

Did you have in mind the style and look you wanted from your gown? If so what was it?

I always knew I wanted a classy dress that was quite figure hugging with lots of back detail.

How did your consultation during your appointment help to find the perfect dress for you?

The lovely Heather chose 2 dresses for me after I had described what I desired. Both were absolutely stunning however, when I tried Rebecca Ingram’s ‘Sandra’ I felt amazing! I knew this was the perfect one for me.

Tell us about your bridal stylist and the ‘You Are Precious’ service you received …

When my mam and I arrived at the boutique Heather sat us both down and told us all about Y.A.Ps history whilst having a lovely welcoming drink! She was so kind and lovely and made me feel so special.

How did you feel when you found your precious gown & how did you know it was ‘The One’?

I felt amazing when I tried on my gown, I filled up with tears which isn’t like me. My mam cried also. I just felt so special and amazing but still felt like me; this was very important to me.
