Tell us how you and your partner met. Your ‘love story’…

We met in November 2018, we had our first date in The Stack on a Sunday night. It felt natural from the first second but I definitely don’t remember thinking ‘this is the one’ or anything like that. It was just a really casual first date, we ended up bumping into one of his friends who was also on a date and it became a drunken double date, ending in McDonald’s and a sore head at work on the Monday morning. It was around a month later when I realised he was a keeper. I was really ill with the flu over Christmas and New Years and I remember he cancelled all of his plans to stay in and look after me on New Year’s Eve.

How did you feel before your first bridal appointment? Did you have in mind the style you wanted from your gown? If so what was it?

I think most girls grow up imagining what their wedding dress will be like and I was no different. I was one of the first of my friendship group to get married so I didn’t have a lot of experience of bridal fashion but I knew I wanted something with delicate lace. When I first discovered Y.A.P Bridal on Instagram I was so excited. They just seemed to encapsulate everything I wanted my wedding dress to be.

What did you feel like when you found your precious gown & how did you know it was ‘The One’?

My dress was about the sixth I’d tried on. Brogan listened really carefully to my feedback on each dress I’d tried and every time she brought a new dress out, it just got better. When I tried it on, it just felt like me. It was like it was taken straight from my Pintrest board!

Describe how your gorgeous Y.A.P gown made you feel when you tied the knot with your fiancé?

I felt AMAZING! But I also felt like ‘me’. I was really conscious that I didn’t want to feel stuffy or like I was pretending to be someone I wasn’t in a wedding dress but I didn’t feel like that at all. I felt like the best version of myself.

Tell us about the ‘You Are Precious’ service you received along your bridal journey …

The service was absolutely impeccable from start to finish. The girls at Y.A.P were so lovely and friendly and I felt at ease from the moment I walked through the door. My bridal consultant, Brogan, listened to exactly what I wanted in my dress and she made it so easy to find ‘the one’. It’s a really fabulous place and the girls make you feel so special.

What three words would you use to describe your overall Y.A.P Bridal experience?

Three words just isn’t enough to sum up the incredible bridal experience I had at Y.A.P bridal.
