‘Katies Love Story…’

We actually work together and got to know one another on staff nights out! As soon as we spoke to one another properly nearly 7 years ago we knew we were perfect for each other and have been inseparable ever since! He’s everything I ever dreamed of and more and I feel so lucky to now be able to call him my husband!

Bridal Journey…

I was excited for my first visit as I was shopping with my mam and Auntie Jacqui and the three of us love a girly day out! I was also a little bit unsure if I would find a dress perfect for me, as I had tried on a few wedding dresses prior to visiting Y.A.P and none of them had been quite right for me! I didn’t have a style in mind as such but have always loved sparkle and glitter which is what blew me away with the dress I chose!

When trying on your Precious Gown how did you know that you had found ‘The One’?

Awww I was so happy! As soon as the girls showed me the ‘sparkliest’ dress they had I was in love… and as soon as I put it on I cried! I just knew straight away that it was my absolute dream dress and that I would never find one that I loved more! It is such a lovely memory I shared with my mam and auntie that I will treasure forever.

Stepping into your dream dress on your day, tell me what that felt like…

I felt so special, I really did feel like a princess for the day! So many people said they thought it was even more beautiful than they could have imagined! My dad said it was the most amazing wedding dress he has ever seen and my now husband said “I don’t know how I never even considered it might be sparkly like that!”

Tell us about the ‘You Are Precious’ service you received throughout your bridal experience

The girls went above and beyond, from my first visit to the shop it really stood out as the girls took such an interest in the sort of wedding day we were having and considered the venue, theme and feel of the day before offering me some advice on styles of dresses to try! They were so patient and knew exactly what my dream dress looked like, as soon as I was shown the dress I chose as my wedding dress I was blown away!
