Favourite part of your experience at You Are Precious Bridal?
What I loved most about You Are Precious was how much they encouraged me to experiment and trust the process. My dress wasn’t one I had picked out myself, and I probably wouldn’t have chosen it from the rail, which really shows how well the team understand what will suit you and the look you’re trying to achieve. The same happened with my feather veil. We tried it on almost as a “why not?” moment, but myself and my bridal party instantly fell in love with it. I loved that I was given the time and confidence to try different styles without ever feeling rushed. The team were also incredibly thoughtful, even calling ahead to Sisters of Grace before my next appointment to share the styles I’d been loving — although I’d already found my dream dress at YAP!
The feeling when you found your precious wedding dress?
Incredible! Again, it wasn’t a dress I had picked out myself, nor was it one I would naturally have chosen from the rail, which I think says so much about the knowledge and experience of the team. They could see the vision I was going for and knew what would work for me, even when I couldn’t necessarily see it myself. Once the whole look started coming together, especially with the veil, it just felt completely right.
What top tip would you give to our future brides ahead of their bridal appointment or wedding day?
Trust the team, have fun and experiment! Go in with an open mind and don’t be afraid to try something you wouldn’t normally choose. The dress or accessory you least expect might end up being the thing you completely fall in love with.
