Tell us how you felt before your first appointment to try on gowns…
Excited, apprehensive, uncertain! I had no idea what I wanted or what would suit me! But I was really looking forward to the whole experience and having the bride to be treatment!
On arriving at Y.A.P Bridal Boutique what were your initial thoughts…
I remember thinking I loved the first dress that was in the hallway- especially the colour (it was champagne, like the dress colour I chose). I loved the look of the boutique- it looked very special! Seeing the sample dresses on show, beautiful decoration and thank you cards from brides made me feel I had come to the right place.
Your Style Ideas…
I really didn’t know what I wanted apart from it being backless. I wanted a wow dress, that would flatter my figure.
Your Consultation to Finding the One…
Louise initially assisted me as my personal bridal stylist, at my first appointment, and was extremely patient and helpful. I tried on about 6 different styles so I could understand what I wanted and what suited me.
We even tried on wedding dresses in different colours so I could have peace of mind on what I preferred.
My stylist put me at ease, was very good at pinning in the dress to my figure, and gave great suggestions. Louise took the time to find out more about the wedding itself, we discussed my venue, colour theme and style of the wedding in order to find the perfect dress for an Italian destination wedding.
Tell us about your bridal stylist and the ‘You Are Precious’ service you received…
I had help from Louise and Danni throughout my wedding dress experience. They both made me feel completely at ease. They are really friendly and asked lots of questions about the wedding at each visit. I loved that they made it personal to me and even brought in their own experiences and stories as well!
Anytime I would pop into the boutique, or call, all the staff were so lovely and there to help as much as they could.
I loved the extra touches like getting my photograph taken and a glass of champagne when I had chosen my dress!
How did you feel when you found your dream gown & how did you know it was ‘The One’…
Emotional! I just felt very special in it!
I loved how it made me feel and I knew I would feel happy and confident wearing it on my wedding day.
