Storing Your Precious Gown

So you’ve had the call to say your unreal gown has arrived into the studio – how exciting!

It’s now time to try her on and collect your precious one…

Here’s a little guide for all of our precious brides to be on how to store your dream dress perfectly and safely either at home or with a member of your bride tribe for no peeking eyes!

◊ Step 1 Hang her up inside her garment cover – inside of a wardrobe, hanging on the front or side, or even on the back of a spare bedroom door is best!

Or..

Lay her down flat on a spare bed!

◊ Top Tip 1 – Anywhere out of direct sunlight is best, and this may seem obvious but a totally dry room!

◊ Top Tip 2 – Keep her as straight as you can, avoid your beautiful gown being folded for too long (the journey home is absolutely fine)

Your gown can live within her protective You Are Precious garment bag as it is totally breathable so no damage or discolouration will occur, Don’t worry about your train getting a little bit creased, as at your last fitting with your seamstress she will have a full head-to-toe re-steam so you are completely aisle ready!
